Virginia Word was born in Pine Bluff Arkansas and passed away in Lodi CA she was 85 years old. Virginia has lived here for over 50 years and was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years Ernest C. Word. Virginia worked as a sales clerk for J.C. Pennys and was a memeber of the First United Methodist Church in Lodi, Women of the Moose, Eatern Star, Red Hats, and Mary Graham Guild. She leaveas behind her three daughters Patty Smith of Lodi, Linda Denham of Elk Grove and Betty McInturff of Texas. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday 4th of March at 2pm at the Masonic Temple 315 W. Pine Street in Lodi.
