Johnny "JD" Davis 08/09/1946 - 12/06/2011 Johnny was born on 8/9/1946 in Albert Lea, Minnesota and passed away peacefully amongst family on December 6, 2011, at the age of 65. He was a longtime resident of Stockton. He was a truck driver for over 40 years working for several local companies such as Balvan, Murrays, Triple R, Husky Crane, Hatton Crane as well as a self-employed driver. He also worked as a dispatcher for All-Cal. He was a loving and devoted husband to Linda Davis for 45 years. Loving father to Tami Kearns and Tracie Gatschet. He was also a proud grandfather of 5 grandchildren, Kelsey Kearns, Jonathan Kearns, Ryan Kearns, Claire Gatschet and Preston Gatschet. Johnny was a brother to 10 brothers and sisters, Dan Davis of Stkn, Charles Davis of Stkn, Michael Davis of Arizona, Betty Lee of Stkn, Carolyn McDonald of Oroville, Nancy Osburn of Fresno, Kaye O'Donnel of Ripon, Mary Duncan of Stkn and Barbara Kenney of Washington as well as uncle to many nieces and nephews. Johnny loved driving truck and working with his sons-in-laws, Patrick Kearns and Chris Gatschet. After he was no longer able to work, he and his wife Linda enjoyed going to all their grandkids activities. He also enjoyed fishing and camping with family. He was preceded in death by his parents Delmar and Frances Davis as well as sister Virginia Bennett. In loving memory we say "goodbye." Family and friends are invited to attend services at Rocha's Mortuary, 215 South School Street in Lodi, on December 13th, 2011 at 11am. Visitation will be Monday, December 12th, 2011 from 2pm-7pm at Rocha's Mortuary. Committal will be private. Arrangements entrusted to the care of ABC Wallace Funeral Services of Stockton.
