Lorna M. Beever, 89, of Lodi, passed away February 28, 2012 at her residence. She was born January 14, 1923 in Wasco, California to John & Minnie Hockett. Mrs. Beever was the beloved wife of 45 years to the late Frederick Beever, the loving mother of Patrice Gates of Lodi, Mark Beever of Tempe, AZ, Nathan Beever of Prescott, AZ, Brooke Demartini of Phoenix, AZ and the late Jonnell Beever (d. 1956), the dear sister of brothers, Alvin Hockett and Edgar Hockett, and sisters, Edith Richards and Edna Fretwell (all 4 deceased), and the devoted grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was a homemaker. Friends are invited to memorial services Friday, March 9, 2012 at 7 PM, in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, on 484 Augusta Ave., Woodbridge, CA 95258.
