Charlie R. Helmstetler Crossland, 96, of Lodi passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2012. She was born January 20, 1916 in Treadway, Texas. Mrs. Crossland was a LVN and RN for many years and worked for nursing homes in Lodi. She is survived by children: Owassa Tinsman, Owana Ellis, Connie Crossland, Charles Crossland, James Crossland, Rebecca Smith and Debra Celador. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Edward Crossland. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:00 PM at Rocha's Mortuary , 215 South School St., Lodi. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to service time that day. Committal services for Mrs. Crossland will be buried in Roswell, New Mexico.
