Lois Rivas (Josephine Lois Rivas), 94, of Lodi passed away May 14, 2012 at a Manteca hospital. She was born November 20, 1917 in Yoakum, Texas to William & Annie Hoffer. Mrs. Rivas was a customer service supervisor at Sears for 20 years. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, San Jose and later, St. Anne's Catholic Church, Lodi. Mrs. Rivas was the beloved wife of 35 years to Phillip Rivas of Lodi, the loving mother of Reginald John Michael of Sacramento and Mark Alan Michael of Tucson, Arizona, the devoted grandmother of Justin Beal and Tondra Michael and the cherished great-grandmother of many, step-daughters Phyllis(Bob)Bayard of Oregon and Claudia (Terry) Chalker of MI.
