Obituary of Wanda Lucille Bouchey

Wanda Lucille Bouchey age 79 died Saturday May 19, 2012 in her home after a battle with cancer. She was born on June 23, 1932 in Yuma Arizona. Wanda moved with her family to Southern California where she grew up from infancy, married Walt Bouchey in 1950, and after he retired they moved to Galt in 1990. She was an active member of the Friends of the Library and the Galt Area Historical Society. As a Historical Society member, she first volunteered her time to genealogy of Galt families upon their request. Then she became the guardian of the Rae House Museum and took a special interest in the Rae House Memorial Rose Garden. Wanda also kept an inventory of all the roses and the name of each person for whom each one was a memorial. Preceding her in death was her husband of more that 55 years Walt Bouchey. She is survived by her Daughter Cheryl Ingles of Texas and son Mike Bouchey of Minnesota. Six grand children and nine great grand children. Funeral services will be held Thursday May 24th 2012 at 1pm in the chapel of Rocha's Mortuary 215 South School Street Lodi and a committal service to follow at Lodi Memorial Cemetery 5750 E Pine St. Lodi Ca 95240.
