Obituary of Ruben A. Solorio

Ruben A. Solorio died at his home on October 5, 2013. He was 59 years old. Born February 23, 1954 to Mariano and Guadalupe (Alvarez) Solorio, Ruben grew up in Stockton and graduated from Franklin High School in 1972. He was also a graduate from Sacramento State University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education. He worked for the State of California as an auditor for over 25 years. Ruben had a hearty laugh and he loved to tell jokes. He will be missed by all who knew him. Ruben was preceded in death by his son, David S. Solorio, his father and mother, Mariano V. and Guadalupe A. Solorio. He is survived by his son, Carlos R. Solorio of San Francisco, his sister, Martha Thomas ( William) of Lodi, his brother Manuel Solorio (Marilyn) of Lodi, niece, Julianne Chetley (Alex), and nephews, Andrew Solorio and Mark Solorio. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Friday, October 25, at 10:00 AM at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 215 W. Walnut Lodi. On-line guest book @ lodifs.com.
