Audrey L. Lear age 96 passed away on November 25, 2013 in Citrus Heights, CA. She was born on May 21, 1917 in Aredale Iowa. She resided in Lodi for 64 years prior to moving to Citrus Heights. She worked for Scaletta Fruit Company and Blewett Dairy as a bookkeeper and retired in 1985 from Lodi Memorial Hospital as Payroll Supervisor. Audrey was preceded in death by her husband C.J. Lear on February 18, 1980. Three brothers and two sisters also preceded her in death. She is survived by her son Brian (Doreen), grandson Matthew (Rosa), two great grandsons, Dylan and Calen, grand daughter Meredith (Jed) Larsen her brother Walter Stock and a number of nieces and nephews. She enjoyed life, especially family and friends. She visited people in their homes taking them homemade soup and cookies. At her request there will be no services or visitation. Her wishes were that memorials be made to the First United Methodist Church of Lodi 200 West Oak St. Lodi CA 95240, which has been part of her family and friends since 1947 or the charity of your choice.
