John is a very near and dear special freind that my son and I met one cold morning at a swap meet in Pleasanton many years ago.... We forged a 25+ years friendship and shared many "Mustang" stories and information. I drove city bus in Stockton and stopped by after work almost daily to visit with John, Leon, and many other guys that would come by for mustang needs and parts. John ALWAYS had an open mind and an open HEART for any that asked. John was Better than "GOOD PEOPLE!!!" He was always very humble about his Pearl Harbor days...
