Obituary of Charles C. "Chuck" Altier

Charles "Chuck" Altier Charles "Chuck" Altier , Jr., 54, of Stockton, passed away peacefully on April 18th, 2014 surrounded by family and friends. Chuck is survived by his wife Melissa Altier, children Chad, Matthew, and Savannah Altier, all of Stockton, parents Charles Sr. and Joanne Altier of Lakeland, Florida, brother Steve (Toni) Altier of Valrico, Florida, nieces Kim, Kelly, and Jessica Altier of Florida, nephew Anthony Aviles of Stockton, four grandchildren, and many dear friends and relatives. Born in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania on March 23, 1960, Chuck was a longtime resident of Stockton. Chuck served in the US Coast Guard, where he studied and became an electrician and has been a proud member of IBEW Local 595 for many years. A devoted and hardworking family man, Chuck took great pride in his yard and home and enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He was a devout and loyal Pittsburgh Steelers fan with a passion for football and an avid and skilled bowler. Chuck belonged to the Shooting Stars league and could be found knocking 'em down weekly at West Lane Bowl. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, April 24, at 2:30 p.m. at Rocha's Mortuary, 215 South School Street, Lodi.
