Obituary of Harold Arthur Goehring

Harold Arthur Goehring, 90, of Lodi, passed away May 25, 2015 in Lodi. He was born September 5, 1924 in Victor. He was the owner of Goehring Meat Products. Mr. Goehring was the beloved husband to the late Ruth Magdaline Goehring (marrying in April, 1952), the loving father of Faye Harmon (Robert) and Nancy Yarborough (Craig), the dear brother of Levi Goehring and Clifford Goehring and the devoted grandfather of Ashley Woehl (Paul), Carly Harmon, Jenna Atwood (Tyler) and Matthew Yarborough. Mr. Goehring was a graduate of Lodi High School. He graduated from U.C. Davis with a Major in Horticulture and a Minor in Vitaculture. He then attended U.C. Berkeley with the courses credited toward the degree at U.O.P. He then graduated from U.O.P. with a Major in Business and a Minor in Econ. Mr. Goehring served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was honorably discharged in November, 1945. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Lodi. Services are private. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Rocha's All Faiths Cremation & Burial. Remembrances may be expressed to First Baptist Church, 267 N. Mills Ave., Lodi, CA 95242 and Hospice of San Joaquin.
