Obituary of Rosina Laura Rossi
Rosina "Rose" Rossi Rosina "Rose" Rossi, 94 of Lodi died October 31. She was born on July 13, 1921, in Losone, Switzerland to Lorenzo Freddi and AnnaMaria (Kunzelmann) Freddi. She had two sisters: Fiorina, her twin; and Eva. She lived in the Lodi-Lockeford area for 59 years, the last two in assisted living at Arbor Place. Rose enjoyed growing vegetables, flowers and green plants. She crocheted and sewed and made the best "Beef Jerky"! Rose was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church where she was a "dust angel". She also did volunteer work making rosary beads and crocheting blankets. Most important to Rose was her faith, her selflessness, and her family. She will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her children Mari Carloni (Bob); Henry Rossi (Doris); and Rosalie Tadde i(Alex); her 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild; as well as a large extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lorenzo and Anna, sisters, Fiorina Stein and Eva Tomajan, and oldest son, Eugene Sutti. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Anne's Catholic Church at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, November 14, 2015. There will be no visitation and inurnment will be private. Rocha's Mortuary is assisting with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Anne's Catholic Church 200 S.
