Obituary of Steve Michael Sypnieski
Steven Michael Sypnieski, age 63, died from a brain tumor on July 27th, 2017, in Lodi, CA. Steve is survived by his wife of 31 years, Elizabeth Sypnieski; children: Mike Bruer, Jeffrey Bruer, Shaylyn Kosta and Ryan Sypnieski; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is preceded in death by his parents Riney and Patricia Sypnieski and his sister, Joy Elhard. Steve was born in Little Falls, MN on February 19, 1954, and moved to Lodi, CA in 1957. He grew up in the construction world and followed in the footsteps of his father. He was in the concrete/asphalt industry for 45+ years. Steve was extremely artistic and enjoyed creating landscape designs on the side. He had the unique ability to look at a blank slate and envision the final product with impeccable detail. He married Elizabeth Montoya on February 14th, 1986 in Stockton, CA. The couple had four children; three from previous relationships and one together. Steve was a dedicated husband, great family man and a loving father. He was a God fearing, Christian man. He took pleasure in living life to the fullest and always had a smile on his face. He delighted in anything which had an engine and went fast. His family and friends will always remember him as a charismatic guy who loved with his whole heart. A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Friday, August 4th, 2017 at 11AM. It will be held at Radiant Life Church, 75 N. Crescent Ave. Lodi, CA 95240. All are welcome to attend and pay tribute to Steve's life. A light reception will follow where stories and memories can be shared amongst each other. The family would like to thank the members of Radiant Life Church for their support through meals and prayers during the final stages of Steve's life.
