Emma Louise Newman age 75 passed away October 13, 2017 in Stockton, CA. Emma was born January 24, 1942 in Muenster, TX. Emma worked for Tillie Lewis Cannery for 15 years, as the first woman mechanic . She was preceded in death by her husband Homer R. Newman, her parents William and Ruth Streng, Mamie Newman, and Ricky Cummings. She is survived by her sisters, Lillian Heathcock and Clellene Gentry her children Elizabeth Newman, Bo Newman, Mike Newman, June Newman-Baker, John Newman, Daniel Newman, Ten grand children and 19 great grand children Funeral services will be on Thursday October 19th 2017 at 1:00 in the chapel of Rocha's All Faiths, 215 S. School Street Lodi ca with a committal service at Cherokee Memorial Park Visitation is on Wednesday October 18, from 10:00am - 4:00pm at Rocha's Please visit www.lodifs.com to leave condolences.
