Please share a memory of Angela to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Angela Lobenberg passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on August 15, 2018. Angela was born to Michael and Tina Stanz in Brooklyn, New York on May 29, 1950. At age 12, she moved with her family to Marin County where she attended local schools and graduated from Terra Linda High in 1968. In 1974 she married her husband Dennis Lobenberg and together they embarked on a 44 year adventure. Shortly after their wedding, they relocated to Santa Clarita, CA where Angela went to work in the grocery business. In 1987, the family moved to Orangevale, CA and in 1997 to a small vineyard outside of Lockeford where she retired to spend more time with her seven grandchildren. In her retirement, Angela loved her many trips to Disneyland with her children and grandchildren. Dennis and Angela enjoyed spending time at their "beach house" in Santa Cruz. She also loved shopping, trips to Vegas, and visiting her extended family in Brooklyn. She was very proud of being part of the "CHP family" where her husband was employed for 31 years. Angela is survived by her husband Dennis Lobenberg, daughter Tina Dreier (Jason), sons Michael Lobenberg, Kevin Lobenberg, and Scott Lobenberg (Brenda) and grandchildren Josh and Brandon Dreier, Breanne, Bryce, Brandon, Eric, and Caitlin Lobenberg. A Funeral service will be held at St. Joachim Catholic Church in Lockeford, CA on August 24 at 11am, with a reception to follow at the parish hall. In lieu of flowers, donations to San Joaquin County Hospice would be very much appreciated.
