Obituary of James T. Ussery

James "Jim" Ussery August 7, 1947 - February 10, 2019 Jim Ussery died peacefully February 10, 2019 with his wife by his side. He was 71. Jim was born August 7, 1947 to Gladys (Fryar) Ussery and Herman Ussery in his Grandmother's home near Oden, Arkansas. He came to California when he was 4 years old. His family settled in Nevada City, California, where he attended local schools. He graduated from Nevada Union High in 1965. Jim met his wife Cyndi in the summer of 1980. They married on July 23, 1983. They spent the majority of their 35 years together living in Lodi. Jim leaves behind his wife Cyndi, his brother Bob (Linda) Ussery, and sister Wanda Davina. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 23rd at 1:00 PM at Rocha's Funeral Home, 215 S. School Street, in Lodi. He will be buried in the New Elm Ridge Cemetery in Nevada City at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to People Assisting Lodi Shelter (PALS), 1405 W.
